Im wondering what others experience is after using Mounjaro for a similar time as me
especially after they have dropped their Hba1c & BMI & moving down to a maintenance dose

Last time I spoke to my GP regarding my Mounjaro, was a few months ago when we moved me up from 7.5 up to 10mg
at that point he was confident I would need a further increase up to 15mg to get the maximum benefit

but I’m kind of thinking I’m almost ready to reduce to a lower maintenance dose

since I started Mounjaro (9 months ago)
have halved my insulin reliance
BMI down from 33.6 to 26.7
weight loss over 3 stone
ok it would be nice to get my BMI untimely down to 25 or less to be at my healthy weight

Sounds like Mounjaro has worked really well for you @goodybags

Is there any reason why you are looking to reduce your dose if you’d still like to lose a little additional weight?

a hard one to answer but my thoughts are Mounjaro has really helped with both bringing down my HbA1c & the weight loss, currently my weight & BMI still isn’t (quite) within the “healthy” range, it’s not far off
previously some members of my HCT spoke about how following the expected weight loss on Mounjaro, most likely it will remain (in a smaller dose) be longer term be as part of my treatment,
just trying to get an idea and wondered how others have after similar experiences found this, but I’m possibly overthinking a few things at the moment
