Hi all, I'm Jen & was diagnosed nearly 9 years ago. I use a Minimed 640g with Novorapid and have recently began to use the Freestyle libre. Every so often (more so lately) I have been experiencing a feeling of warm running water down my left foot, there is no pain but more a very strange sensation. Has anyone else felt this, explain it to me or have any advice? Thanks. Hope you are all well throughout this concerning time x

Have you spoken with your GP?

Welcome to the forum @RNjrt92

I have not experienced symptoms like yours but do have other issues with my right leg and foot. I was advised when this was dealt with that if the issues were to do with Neuropathy it would be in both legs. As your symptoms are on one side only it sounds like it might be nothing to do with your Diabetes. Well worth a call to the GP.

Whilst things at Practices have changed with Covid, they are still there for us, usually with telephone calls before visiting the GP.

welcome to the forum @RNjrt92

Like @SB2015, when I asked about an occasional funny feeling in one leg, I was told that changes in legs due to diabetes and neuropathy usually present on both sides at once, which I was very relieved to hear.

Do speak to your GP to ask their advice - asking for a phone appointment seems to be a good first step these days.

Hi Jen - all the best people are called that, aren't we?

How weird - not a thing I ever recall anyone else old or young mentioning to me - but I'd find that most unpleasant so absolutely get on the phone to the docs.
