This past week, my fasting levels have been quite high in the 8's and 9's. As you all know, I have recently moved house and feeling quite stressed with busy job to cope with too.
Can't say I've been eating anything much different, but my Metformin has been reduced to just 1 a day as my last Hba1c was at 6.2%.
Also in the throws of terrible night sweats which I am putting down to hormones (in the murky depths of peri-menopause) and no, I'm not referring to an ageing crooner
What I'm trying to ascertain is this, could my night sweats have something to do with my increased levels in the morning. As soon as I get up and about, my levels are back down to the 5's and 4's by the afternoon.
I suppose you're going to say, just monitor as it could be one of many things, raised hormone levels, stress or could it be that I may have to go back onto a double dose of Metformin again? Boo
