Hi all , I was just wondering if morning levels can take a while to go down ? I was diagnosed with a hba1c of 121 in september and had managed to get it down to 44 by december by diet and exercise alone however my morning readings are 8 and 9 plus whereas my ones after eating tend to be between 5 and 7 , do you think they will drop in time without medication ?
Thanks for any help

Lots of people find the morning levels are highest. If you do a search for Dawn phenomenon, you may find some tips that people have used to help. My DP is always better when I don’t eat too many carbs.
