Hi Nicky, yes im actually finding them abit difficult to get on with,my BG is fine its my teeth im worried about, there so moorish and maybe they were not the best idea to buy when i have a really loose tooth lol.But ill persevere with them.Let me know how you get on

I'm always looking for something different for breakfast so will watch your progress with interest. 🙂

I've been wondering if those Belvita breakfast biscuits advertised by Johnny Vaughan and Lisa thingummy are any good - they claim to be 'slow release'. Most of the varieties appear to be around 8-9g carbs. Can't imagine they are any 'slower release' than weetabix etc.

Be careful Steff, a serving of these is more than two slices of most breads and you will have nothing with it to minimise the effect.

Breakfast: 45g Mornflakes Oat Crunch, semi-skimmed milk

Waking BG: 6.9
1 hr post meal BG: 9.8
2 hrs " " BG: 6.8

Tried these 'on the run' one morning. Surprisingly filling. Didn't measure BG though!

Those are not bad number really.

How big is a 45g serving of moonflakes? - I have about 50g of walnuts with my yoghurt in the morning but nuts are fairly dense.
