MORE than 500 people will take part in a sponsored walk to step up the fight against diabetes.
They are friends and family of Morgan Wheller, from Hayling Island, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was just two.
He has already endured more than 11,000 finger pricks, 2,500 injections and 180 cannulas in his short life.
Now on an insulin pump, these numbers will continue to increase until a cure for Type 1 is found.
On Sunday, September 28, Morgan and his family will be among 500 fundraisers stepping out along the beautiful Hayling seafront to raise money towards finding a cure.
