Moms funeral

As most of you know, my mother died on 24th Feb. It is her funeral on monday. We have tried hard to makeit a pretty one, for want of a better word. She has a wicker coffin with a garland of leaves and little white flowers round it. I am really dreading it. I don't want to fall apart infront of everyone. Please say a prayer for her on monday morning.

Don't worry about breaking down at the service - it's called loving someone so much. Hope you are aware of our thoughts and prayers surrounding you.

Don't worry about your emotions on Monday, it is natural to be upset. Most people will be kind and leave you be. Tears at a funeral are natural so don't even try and figure out what other people are thinking. The day is about you saying goodbye to your mom in your own way. A very personal thing and nobody can say how you should be behaving.

Know there are people on here wishing you well and supporting you/carrying you through. Difficult days but the tears will subside. Grief is important so don't try and keep it in.

It is normal to show emotions at a funeral, so don't worry about it. I hope the morning has gone as smoothly as it can for you. It is a sad time, but we are all here for when you need a shoulder to cry on or a listening ear.
