SYDNEY ? A Glace Bay mother is frustrated by a policy that keeps school board employees from giving insulin injections to her diabetic daughter.
Alana Hart has been going to St. Anne?s elementary school every day to give her daughter, Keyonna Hart-Ash, 8, a noon injection but doesn?t know what to do after Saturday, when she goes back to her job at Victoria Haven Nursing Home.

Well - they've hardly sprung it on the mother by the sounds of it - so presumably they and the mother have had time to work with the child to get her to do her own injections?

Just in case others assume Sydney means NSW Australia, this Sydney is in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, a maritime province of eastern Canada.
