After some encouragement I did make some mince pies on Christmas day -- using my favorite sweet pasty mix, I have allowed my self 1--- the pastry is just as I remember it, just like shortbread --- just need some one to come and eat those left in the box!

My MIL forced a mince pie down me yesterday (nagged that much about how nice they were and persuaded me to try one, which I did!) and I have to say even warm with fresh cream I didn't enjoy it one bit! Wish I'd had one of yours instead - at least it may have been worth it!!🙂 Katiex
