Bleugh!! Feeling poo...past few days have been horribly stressful & it seems that & a relatively mild cold have had quite a huge effect on ny levels...i've managed to get them down to reasonable levels at points but have had levels up at 18 at times the last few days! 😱 Feeling sick, changed cannulas & corrected per the rules, now on 120% tbr & hoping that works. Unfortunately the cause of the stress is not going to go away so hoping this blip is all down to not much sleep recently & this bug. Hope everyone else is doing ok. X

Hi Twitchy. I hope you feel better soon. It has been quite sunny, that often helps our mood feel brighter.

Oh Twitchy {{{{{{{massive hugs to you}}}}}}} I hope that you are feeling much better soon

Sorry to hear this Twitchy :( I hope that the cold goes soon and leaves you stronger so you can deal with the stress better. {{{Twitchy}}}

Sorry to hear your unwell, hope the TBR increase helps.

We were recommended by rep to start 120 % and if still high after 4 hrs increase further, and so on until you achieve desired levels. This has worked very well for the little one, have been up to 200% at times though needed knocking down at night, mostly she has needed somewhere between 140 - 160 % for colds and bugs.

🙂

Thanks everyone. 🙂 It's interesting, like with Hanmillmum's experience the tbr hasnt seemed to be needed at the same rate over all the 24 hrs...and not necessarily seeming linked to activity levels either! :confused: Very odd. Anyway, the ridiculously high levels do seem to correlate with peak stress, which is interesting as I didn't see this effect pre op (& i was pretty stressed then too lol) - although thinking about it, pre op i didnt have the physical shakes & 'fight or flight' feelings that have been a feature of the last few days! Anyway, i have a strategy, just need to try & stay mentally aloof from the stressful situation now - i've figured out a strategy & guess i have to give it a go!

Thanks everyone for the kind words! Xx
