We have now discovered the cause of Les's Monday night hypo!

It was a major over miscalculation of insulin for his tea!

Unbeknown to Les, the company etc... The cook has started to change the ingredients of dishes and isn't informing anybody...

So when Les had apple crumble and custard for his tea, he calculated the carb amount include Sugar both in the Apple filling, Crumble top and custard... She hadn't put one grain of sugar in it, but sweetener!

As I used to be the Head Cook/Chef reasonable for the kitchen, I know how out of order the cook was as changes like this is rather dangerous, due to the residents..

As there are many dietary needs that require covering, foods have to be clearly labelled and consistent for residents well being... Giving the wrong food to the wrong resident can cause all sorts of problems and implications...

I've told him to kick up stink, with management and if they won't listen then take it up with head office!
 
That is out of order on behalf of the kitchen not to let anyone know of the change of ingredients. I hope a stink is made for everyones sake.

I have been trying for a long tie to get our staff resteraunt to give a list of ingredients for the rubbish they dish up but it is too much trouble. I wont eatthere any more because I don't know what I am eating...
