Does taking slow release metformin 500 mgs x 4 different from taking slow release 1000mgs x2

Should be no different except size/strength of tablets.

If unsure, perhaps talk to a pharmacist at your chemists?

The 1000mg tablets are physically a little bigger (okay they’re enormous but you get used to them), but there’s no difference in whether you take 4x500mg or 2x1000mg, it’s the same thing.

No difference to medication but you can spread them out if you want. The 1000mg ones are like a horse pill lol.

At first you look at them and think how on earth do i get that down, but I can now do 2 x 1000mg metformin, and the 3 other pills I take at the same time, all in one go!
