can any body tell me if they have heard off the new meter that test your blood and tells you how much insulin yoou need to take i think it is called contour bayer companion😱

Haven't heard of that - not sure how it could determine that, how can it know what you are going to eat? Unless you have to key the carbs in too, and store your ratios for time of day. Plus there are so many other things like activity, illness, temperature etc.

Would be nice, but I don't see how it could be trusted!😱

I'm sure there would have been a HUGE launch of a product like that. Which seems unlikely due to the release of the USB meter.

I think this sounds like someone's been feeding you bad information, to be honest 🙂

Can't seem to find anything on the Bayer website. One of the Bayer meters links to medtronic pumps, which then can do those calculations, maybe that is what you heard about?
