MY FRIEND IN YOUR LAST JOURNY MAY THE WIND BE AT YOUR BACK

does anyone know the verse the line may the wind be at your back comes form

does anyone know the verse the line may the wind be at your back comes form

Isn’t it from the Irish Blessing, road rise to meet you..
rain fall softly on your fields…

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.

Yes - that is where it comes from.

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
thank you for this from the bottom of my heart
