The Spice Girl and Superstar judge tells for the first time how she helped diagnose brother Paul's diabetes - and probably saved his life
Melanie C cheered as her younger brother, Paul, finally emerged from the hotel after midday to join her at the *poolside.
But within a few minutes he?d retreated back indoors ? insisting it was too hot and he needed to lie down.
The Chisholm *family were on the holiday of a lifetime in Mauritius to celebrate Mel?s 30th birthday.
Career wise, the siblings were both flying high. Former Spice Girl Mel was now an international solo star, while Paul, who?d just turned 24, had finished his best ever season as a racing driver.
But seeing her brother so out of sorts set alarm bells ringing for Mel.
?Paul is a really bubbly person ? always laughing, joking, and great fun,? Mel, now 38, recalls.
