Hi

I have just received a letter about attending a 2 half day education course called meet DESMOND. Sounds very interesting.

Certainly feel as though I am being well looked aftet..........long may it continue.

Yep, it's for type 2s, but us type 1s have DAFNE or equivalent.

What is meet DESMOND?

DESMOND stands for Diabetes Education and Self Management for Ongoing and Newly Diagmosed

Its for people with Type 2 Diabetes

Good luck with that Sheilagh I did a course about 12 month after i was diagnosed and got so much from it and really enjoyed it x
