I do will keep checking but haven't been doing anything different to before these tablets
Nothing mentioned in leaflet....thanks for your help

Sometimes people think that the tablets are going to 'deal with' the high glucose levels and so do not keep their carbohydrate consumption as low as they ought.

Just another thought, any chance you have a urine infection?

Hi. Sukkarto is a brand name for Metformin which many of us take. It doesn't normally cause problems apart from some short-term bowel upset for some users. I suspect your BS may be too high? Metformin doesn't help BS by much and is the most use for T2s although many T1/LADAs, like me, take it for it's other benefits. Have you got a meter? What was your last HBA1C? As you are a LADA, I suspect you may need to be on more suitable tablets such as Gliclazide and eventually insulin will be needed. LADAs will normally go thru what's called a 'honeymoon' period where the pancreatic beta cells decay. This period can last months or years where increasing medication is needed. Keep the carb consumption down to help reduce BS anyway.
