HI

Still have the chest infection --- new medication ---- different anti biotics and prednisalone and uniphylin ---- have been told to stop the simvastatin and ignore any blood sugar readings until a week afte I stop the medication !! what a interesting day.

That's all very well being told to ignore blood sugar reading. But prednisolone is a steroid. Steroids will raise your blood sugar very high. So you need to cut right down on the amount of carbs you are eating and make sure you drink plenty of fluids to keep your kidneys well and truly flushe out.

I hope your chest infection clears up with the different antibiotics very soon. Take care of yourself and your BS if you can. Sheena
