I notice you have been around for about a year and were prescribed metformin and you were making some dietary changes, were these not successful at bringing down your HbA1C.
The criteria for prescribing the Ryebelus are quite specific so I wonder why the change.
This link may help you identify why the change and highlight any things you may need to consider. https://www.diabetes.org.uk/about-d...s/tablets-and-medication/semaglutide/rybelsus
I know several people are taking that type of medication.

Hi

I take Rybelsus, but I find it too restrictive as you have to take on an empty stomach with a small amount if water first thing in the morning and then not eat or drink anything for half an hour…I’ve been on it since November, not sure it’s making much difference with anything if I’m honest..I still take metformin as well as another tablet the name of which I can’t remember!

Hi
No HbA1c has hardly moved in the last year, GP is keen to try something different, was hoping someone could tell me their experience on it.

So - have you lost any weight since reducing the carbs?
