Hi, Has anyone done drug trials for type 2 diabetes? I saw a advert asking for volunteers. Its in leeds I think? You get paid for doing the trials. Is this safe to do? Any advice would be great as I am thinking of doing it. Thanks

I haven't personally, but I know we have had members in the past mention that they had taken part in trials. Just make sure you are fully aware of all the risks, and also that your own doctor is consulted before committing to anything.

Hi just bumping this for anyone who missed it and can help out

Good luck if you do decide to go ahead with the trails,As Alan said though just make sure you know the risks.

I haven't met anyone who has done the trials. I think I'd err on the side of caution and speak to my doctor too.
