Since my HbA1c is in non diabetic range now, will my medical exemption certificate still be valid it expires 2022, I’m still on Metformin but on a much lower dose now

The certificate expires in 2022 so use it until then and if you are still on qualifying meds when renewal comes around renew it.

Whilst on Metformin you still qualify for the medical exemption certificate , so don’t worry .

Qualification is by treatment, not symptoms, so there is no problem whilst you are being prescribed Metformin.

My Metformin has been reduced and I’m on this dose for six months after which it may be stopped altogether.
I also take medication for anxiety and have been for a long time, will the exemption allow me to get that medication for free if my diabetes medication is stopped altogether
