Ever since getting my licence back from DVLA as a short term and only car use on I've been annoyed, grr!
I've tried a few tacks to understand if I can get up to 7.5 tonnes back on my licence, although I don't need it for work I find it useful/handy.
Finally I received a letter last week, telling me to fill in 2 forms, even though they sent me 5!?! I think I need to fill them all out, no problem there at all, reading into the info booklet about the forms, if I'm under 45 (which I am) and I have the medical examination report filled in and and proved satisfactory, then so long as I don't have any further health issues, I should be good till I'm 70! Well that'll be debatable, but I'm happy.
So the real question is have any of you had to fill out this "Medical Examination Report" form D4, it looks like you've got to go to your GP and line their pockets with silver. Does anybody have experience of this, how much does it cost? I'm going to try and arrange an appointment for when I'm off next week.
Thanks.
