Medical device alert: Animas IR1200, IR1250 and 2020 insulin pumps

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has issued an device alert for Animas insulin infusion pumps.

These pumps will only operate until 31 December 2015 due to a software problem.

All Animas pump users are being contacted by letter from the manufacturer to arrange replacement pumps.
