Medic Alert Query

Hi I am a recently diagnosed type 1(LADA) and thinking about safety when travelling alone. Has anyone used Medic Alert for ID bracelets etc and do you think they are good value and worthwhile. Are there alternatives or anything from Diabetes UK? Thanks

Hi again @CathyFP Yes, I use MedicAlert and have used their bracelets since diagnosis. One of my children also has one. I think they’re great and I find my bracelet a great reassurance. There are cheaper options but in my opinion it’s worth paying for. I’ve found them very professional and have got excellent service.
