A dying man called the Louisville police Monday morning and told them he should spend his last days locked in a cell for what he had done more than six years ago.
David Satterfield, 34, confessed to a sergeant on the phone that in 2007, he killed Marcelline Katherine Sommer Vale, an 86-year-old widow, Louisville police said in a press conference Tuesday.
Vale had been helpless, lying in a nursing home bed in a fog of Alzheimer?s, and Satterfield had been hired as a medical technician to care for her.
