What's the highest carb meal you guys will have all i have went to since diagnosed was 47g and that was a ready meal haha x

I don't limit the carbs specifically but for instance I find I can't eat much more than 50g carb-worth of either pasta or rice, and have sensible control after - so I should think those meals would be up to around 65g.

A 'meat and veg' dinner would be unlikely to be more than 50/60g - a medium dollop of mash, say 20g. if I've roasted the meat I could have maybe 2 pieces of spud roasted 20g, then say it's pork so there would be stuffing or beef, Yorkshire say 10g (2 Yorkshires, LOL) - then if there are either carrots or peas add another 5 or 10g. If it's a quick midweek affair - chop, boiled spuds, one veg and gravy - it might only be 40/45g.

Carbs of themselves (other than the miniscule amount in eg cabbage or lettuce etc) usually = stodge in my brain - and I simply limit the stodge, always, since otherwise I won't finish the meal cos my actual capacity for eating anything is defo not infinite!

I have a rule of thumb of 25g per meal - which isn't much if you're eating rice, pasta, potatoes, bread etc, but is fine for low carb vegetables. I can have a couple of slices of decent low-carb bread too.
