Hardly anyone out along our block except ourselves. Not pleased by that.

Well done for forging ahead though. I suspect it may be repeated (I thunk it’s happening daily across Europe) so you can be the trend setters :D

There's over 50 properties on the estate I live on and all was quiet not even a mouse stirred :(

Lovely response on my street. Since we live a two minute walk from the hospital you couldn’t NOT surely. I hope they heard us!!!

Not sure my immediate neighbours joined in, perhaps they weren't aware of it, but I could hear people all over town from where I live, so I'm sure they would have heard it over at the hospital (a couple of miles from me) 🙂 If you weren't aware it was going to happne then you must have wondered what on earth was going on! 😱 :D

I heard they want to make it a regular Thursday thing whilst the lockdown is in place 🙂

Abit of a limited response around us, but whilst those of were out clapping an ambulance arrived at one of the houses. They had a big response from those of us that were out. Caught up with one neighbour two doors away, who had lost her job as a result. Very philosophical and positive.

Great turnout in our road too ~ many clapping from their windows & first floor flats. In fact I found it emotional.

It's fantastic that our nation have come together in support of the NHS workers who are diligently caring for hundreds & thousands of very poorly & sadly dying people, who've tested positive for the Coronavirus ~ whilst simultaneously placing themselves at risk. I applaud them all.

Only me out last night 🙂 everybody in our apartments are very elderly so most of them are in bed.🙄 However you could hear the clapping from surrounding buildings well done all who joined in, thank goodness for the NHS and front line workers.🙂

I saw some HCPs on the news this morning in absolute tears, clearly very moved by the gesture.

More than half of the residents in our over-55s apartment block were outside clapping (including me and Mrs B) and banging pans. We are apart from other housing for their safety, so I don’t know about the general population.
