Has anyone seen this programme? Just been watching it on Dave and it really brings home to you why there is such a problem with obesity in the US. It seems that the 'celebrated' dish at so many establishments is the hugest, hottest, fattiest, meal. They've just had a 'gyro', which is a doner kebab with two pounds of meat in it 😱 Coming up he eats a 5 pound grilled cheese 'challenge' - I like cheese but eat at most half a pound in a MONTH, never mind 5 pounds in one meal.

Yes, I watch it whenever I can - its a guilty pleasure! Horribly fascinating😱

I have seen this and quite enjoy it, the challenges he faces aren't for the majority of folk though, but yeah, it just shows you what America is like............

I especially like the spicy/hot challenges..........I am growing my own Trinidad scorpion peppers this year, don't know if I will be able to use them though, as I failed to even eat more than one spoonful of my vindaloo on Saturday.......:(

The only time I eat more than a slice or two of cheese is if I make macaroni cheese, and then I need LOTS of salad with it

I have only seen this programme once, although I admit I did enjoy watching it. I couldn't believe the amount of food he ate - and it does highlight why America has the obesity problem it has due to the portion sizes!

I had a big appetite when I was younger, but wouldn't be able to eat the amounts he eats. It is entertaining in a gruesome way, but I think it is the fact that it glorifies these monstrous meals that bothers me 😱

I went through a phase of watching this, was compulsive viewing indeed but soooo wrong 😱

Never had any interest in such a vile show

They may as well take them to a wood and shoot them, saves the damage that there doing themselves with all that food
