FORMER DJ Terry McGeadie is launching the first Scottish court claim over diabetes drug Avandia.
He claims he has been left with major heart problems after being prescribed the pills, now banned, in 2003.
And he and his lawyer, Cameron Fyfe, are pressing ahead with a ?250,000 Court of Session action against
makers GlaxoSmithKline.
Former Scot FM late-night host Terry, 57, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 1991 and put on Avandia more than 10 years later.
