A 35-year-old man is accused of spraying a small amount of gasoline from a bottle in St. Paul, threatening to set himself and his ex-girlfriend on fire. He also held his insulin pen injector and said he'd kill the woman by injecting her with insulin, according to a criminal complaint filed Monday, April 30.

The Ramsey County attorney's office charged Laron Doshon Underwood, address unknown, with two counts of felony terroristic threats and one count of gross misdemeanor domestic assault.

The complaint gives this information:

Underwood's 25-year-old ex-girlfriend called 911 on Sunday at 10:37 a.m. and said he'd punched her in the face and left her apartment in the 400 block of Grand Avenue. She said he was armed with a knife that he'd lunged at her with, and he'd said he was going to stab himself and claim she had done it.

At about the same time, a man, later identified as Underwood, called 911 and said a woman had cut his arm in a domestic incident and he was running away on Grand Avenue. The call disconnected and Underwood didn't answer a callback.
