Just noticed on the main page it stated 3 out 5 people with diabetes experience mental health and emotional problems.

I wonder if they experienced Anxiety and Depressive episodes before being Diagnosed with Diabetes?

Having any long term or chronic condition can affect mental health.

So so true

I’ve had depression intermittently since diagnosis, but that’s nothing to do with Diabetes. I suppose that answers your question in a way. I just regard diabetes as a way of life, it doesn’t trouble me psychologically.

{*looks round at the other 19 people at the Diabetes Support Groups meeting. Wonderes who the the 12 are!*}
