Last weekend My very beautiful youngest daughter married the love of her life.(I hope he is anyway)lol. They had a truly wonderful day at a small Manor house in a beautiful Lincolnshire village. my new son in law is six foot plus tall and I am 5foot tall. I feel very tiny height wise beside him. We Had a wonderful time and many photos were taken. I took the decision not to check my blood glucose for the duration of the weekend. I had been trying very hard to lose weight and bring my blood sugars under control after all, no one wants to disappoint their children. So today I saw a few of the wedding photos on line and I was so mortified. standing by my brand new son in law is a well dressed teletubby in a brown dress and a very large hat. Then to cap it all my youngest son posted photos which proved that I was clearly in possession of the teletubby gene. I have to say I was feeling very down when I looked at these photos. This morning I saw my neighbour she said 'haven't you lost weight'. I could have kissed her. By the way, my levels have been up and down this week.

Photographs can be very cruel, I hope they don't spoil your memories of the wonderful day.
I usually try to hide behind someone whenever the camera comes out.
Just get back on track, tomorrow is another day to start afresh.

I do agree .Photographs are the pits at times But my neighbour made my day by telling me that I looked good. The whole weekend was magical and although I lost my sense of humour for a short while my lovely neighbour brought it back.

Having lost 4.5 stone, I was horrified to still look overweight on a recent group photo where I was standing sidewards to the camera. My sister pointed it was because of all the rammel I had in my pockets...mobile, doggy poo bags, mask, keys, you name it, it was in there! So the camera does lie occasionally, and I'm sure it did in your case. Glad you had a wonderful time x

I know what you mean. I got my wife to photograph some cooking that I was doing trying not to be in the shots. However, there were a few shots with me in them. I was mortified to see that I looked so old.

I used to look, much younger !!! 🙂

I know the feeling lol. May I ask how do you get the information about your circumstances to pop up at the bottom of you posts? I am not very computer savvy and I can't work it out at all

Go onto your own photo, press signature and type in what you want

Never mind the photos, I don’t think there is a woman alive that doesn’t cringe a their own photo! To our families we are beautiful, even if we have lumps bumps patches and pumps lol.
