I can’t order till they’re due anyway, no early requests allowed, so I can’t. Will order when I’m able to which is during the Christmas week.

Did mine online the Sunday before last. & boom. Had a text saying the order was processed the following Monday morning. Faster than Amazon! I’ve ordered early prior to taking off on holiday too. Never had issue. (Just means a later order for next time?)

Just packing for the annual parental visit. As we are taking in both sets of parents plus Christmas and New Year we will be away for more than a week. So I have been counting out needles and insulin and pump supplies and test strips.
Thankfully, I remembered to top up everything last week so I could fill my luggage with it all and plenty of spares. I think I might need the extra insulin with my mince pies, chocolates, Christmas cake, chocolates, Christmas pudding, chocolates! Christmas cookies, biscotti, chocolates, panettone,
Did I mention the chocolates?

I also went to the gym this morning to burn off some calories to make space for the Christmas binge.

I need to go and pick up my prescription(s) from the pharmacy tomorrow. I'd just ordered all my stuff last week, then I had my annual review a couple of days later, and asked if my repeat could be upgraded to the Libre 2. I see from Patient Access, that they not only upgraded it, but did me an immediate prescription for them, so I am expecting to be staggering back with an extra 2 boxes of sensors. Never mind, I’ll get through them eventually.

I ordered mine the week before last and got them last Wed but I have to go back tomorrow for a friend as one of their medications wasn't in stock on Wed. Then I am at the hospital on Tues for my diabetes clinic appointment perhaps with the new consultant or one of his/her registrars. I haven't bothered to get any blood tests done for this appointment because my annual diabetes review with the practice nurse is due in Feb and will get them done there and my HbA1c in Sept was 46 and has been mid 40s for the last few years. Plus I wasn't sent any forms for blood tests. Can you tell, I am getting my excuses lined up in advance of my appointment!! Can't see any point in getting them done again, just to satisfy a consultant when appointments for anything are getting to be like hens teeth and someone else might be more in need of that appointment. This will be my first in person clinic appointment since Covid and first with new consultant! Half hoped it was going to be put back yet again, but looks like it is going ahead this time. Really must get a list prepared of things I want to discuss.... if I can think of anything.
