Made a quiche with experimental pastry

Been trying to make a low carb pastry. It worked in a way that it looks like pastry. It rolled out just like pastry & it seems to have cooked like pastry. The burnt bits on the edges taste like burnt pastry, but am yet to try a slice of this quiche. You will all have to wait until lunchtime.:D
Worked to carbs out to be 5g per slice (1/8th). It's a big quiche & the whole lot is 40g carb.

I'M HERE! Been out shopping & was so long that we went straight to wifey's asthma clinic afterwards. Just had a slice and I've got to say, it was spot on! The pastry was perfect & it's my first attempt. I shall post the recipe shortly for the whole quiche, not just the pastry.🙂

Quite a collection of good tasty low carb pies...pastries & breads coming on...now waiting for a decent low carb biscuit...@Marsbartoastie is working on that
