Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hi all, newish to this so here goes. Been type 2 for about 7 years and as time gone by i have tried lots of oral meds. Got used to metformin, however all other meds don't suit so been put on lyxumia pen 2 weeks ago. Side effects not nice, banging head and nausia being the main ones. Also tiredness, sleep thru now tho, so that's good. When i take it before my main evening meal, my sugars plummet form around 12 to below 4. Had a hypo, so had to eat a sweet, immediately felt ok. Hope these effects go away soon, off on hols soon.Been advised to drink water for headache. I have lost about 2/3 kg. Gone off my food. Also because it slows down digestion, i can get a bit of reflux at night when lying down. To be honest my bs go back up after 12 hours, so not 24 hour med.
