I ordered a prescription for Levemir a couple of weeks ago, dutifully when I started my last pen. The prescription of two boxes of 5 prefilled syringes of Levemir issued on the 8th of February have an expiry date of February 2018.

I might have a little trip to the doctors tomorrow. Fortunately, I currently lack the wherewithal to get cross. ( Parkinson’s medicationo_O)

Well spotted.

Blimey, they must have been kicking round for a bit, my latest Levemir cartridges expire in August 2019!

I stand there and open every bag at the pharmacy counter to check a) they are all present and correct and b) expiry dates - I refused a Hypostop jab kit the once cos they last 5 years if not used before - and it had only weeks left to run.

I haven't needed it for 10 years now, but that probably means I'm due one knowing my luck!
