Welcome to the forums Kevin 🙂

Welcome to forum Kev,

I was diagnosed 12yrs ago (close enough)(aged 18) but fraid I don't know the answer too the lucozade question! Soz I can't help!!

Keep up the gym work, I'm a fitness instructor so I too love the gym environment

Hi Kevin welcome to the forum.

As Northe says, the Lite version doesn't have many carbs in it at all - at only 10g (500ml) compared to 65g in a 380ml bottle of normal lucozade. Websites like that are great for giving you that kind of info - by the sounds of it you'd need to drink 6 or so bottles of Lite to match the normal stuff!

Actually, looking closer, it says that none of the carbs are sugars, so presumably sweeteners which may not be quick enough to give your levels any kind of boost at all!

Is it just me or is Lucozade light is sounding utterly pointless and nothing but a marketing ploy?
