....a great number, well done!

My Dr said that he thinks some of my inconsistent hypos may be caused by my thyroid. So I'm having a blood test this week to look at my thyroid function or something like that.

The specialist nurse said to me that if this is the case with my thyroid, which is apparently common with type 1 diabetes then that is likely to be what's preventing me from gaining any weight. She said when that gets sorted through medication then I should see some weight improvement.

But i'm also aware that my thyroid is slightly under-active, which would suggest I would gain weight. So it's confused me a bit as to how my thyroid could be causing me to not gain weight when it's under-active.

I'm kind of hoping this issue is right because it could fix a long term problem of mine and answer many questions.

Great number, well done 🙂
