Lowering cholestrol

So I’m on a low dose of statins because my cholestrol was a little high when diagnosed. But even then my triglycerides and hdl were fine. However my hdl had gone down a bit, don’t know why. So I was on a bit of a mission to increase it. After doing my research, as I always do, I added the following - cholestrol lowering drink (a yummy and low carb treat), I added 20g milled flaxseed to my berries and yoghurt breakfast (again yummy and a healthy way to up my calories) and started probiotics, these ones

Acidophilus 500million Probiotic Tablets.

I also started taking creatine, but that was to help with my exercise regime, building up muscle after a long term injury. But apparently some studies have shown a positive effect on cholestrol.
So my blood test 6 months later surprised me a lot.
total cholestrol 4 to 3.7
chol/hdl ratio 3.3 to 2.6 !!!!
non hdl from 2.8 to 2.3
hdl 1.2 to 1.4
trigl 1 to 0.7
ldl 2.3 to 2.
I believe the chol/hdl ratio is the most important, and what a difference!
Obviously I don’t know if one or all made a difference, but pretty pleased with that.
