Following clinic I've got to do more protein and fat at breakfast with less carbs, which isn't so much a problem now but in September when the school run is back I need fast breakfasts! Any ideas? I don't have time to be making scrambled eggs and bacon every day

Omelette? they only take a few minutes to do fresh BUT I have to eat rather sharpish after injecting for my brekkie so I make mine the night before, leave it to cool in a tub in the cupboard (or the cat would eat it) then pop it in the fridge, chuck it in the micro in the morning x

Not sure she will eat omelette tbh but will give it a go!

If you do don't cook it fully (if you know what I mean lol) as the microwaving will finish it off, you could try mashing it with a fork after you've done it so it looks a bit more like scrambled eggs maybe? not sure it would work though, what kind of things does she like? x

She likes scrambled eggs but as I say on a school morning that's a nightmare 🙄

Mostly carby things lol, she's currently on porridge or cereal. She likes yogurt, ham (most days) cheese, sausages. Most fruit and veg are off the cards but she likes berries, banana and grapes. Ideally I want something that's not going to require her to have a bath after too because I don't have time for that lol

Sorry I know I shouldnt but that made me laugh! scrambled eggs can be done in the microwave from scratch in about a minute and a half if it makes it any easier, have they suggested an amount of carb to give her for breakfast? you could do yogurt with berries, you could even cook some sausages up the night before and zap them in the microwave in the morning, sorry if I'm not being much help lol x

I hate microwaved scrambled eggs so hadn't even considered that.

Yogurt with berries probably will result in baths :D but will try it and see. Cook ahead sausages are a good idea, if I can get sausages and omelette going the night before that would be ideal.
