Mixed olives and feta/Manchego cheese are my go to low carb snack.
I had the impression you got 3 meals provided at the home, so probably shouldn't need snacks as well. What about the seafood you were getting? That is obviously low carb too. I tend to use a snack in place of lunch.

Cheese can be eaten as it is or melted in a microwave - I like to spread tomato purée on a slice of cheese, sprinkle something green on (mixed herbs or sliced gherkins or jalapeños), cover with another slice of cheese and then zap for up to a minute to make a "pizza"

Eggs can be microwaved but you usually need a gadget to stop them exploding, we have microwave poachers and I believe there are also products available for "boiled" eggs.

Mini salamis, olives, tinned fish, all keep for ages and don't usually need a fridge.

Can't advise on sweet snacks as I prefer savoury these days. (I did have a ridiculously sweet tooth as a child but fortunately I outgrew it)

A couple of slices of apple with peanut or almond butter is nice and not too carby if it is a small apple.

Could you ask for bigger portions of meals so that you don’t need to snack?

A glass of electrolyte water minimal carbs and helps fill the tum. Boiled egg. Celery filled with a nut butter. Cold cooked meat. all the salad leaf and cucumber etc.

thanks guys good ideas
