Hi, I have posted a couple of threads about low carb bread and does anyone have any ideas. Jumbleannie said she bought some from Morrisons but can I have the name of it please as they don't appear to sell it at my local shop.
Burgen sends my B/G up so if anyone has any ideas please help, also if I do have to give up bread does anyone have ideas of what I can eat instead, I don't feel that I have eaten without bread, many thanks, Debra

I like Nairns with herb and pumpkin seed. They are low GI, 4.7g carbs per oatcake. I like them with a smidge of butter and some cheese. I'm told that way it slows down the carb release. Obviously they are not really anything like bread but could be ok instead of it.

I find that my BG rises slower after eating rye bread compared to other breads. My favourite way of eating it is with (low fat) cream cheese and smoked salmon. A simple side salad and a glass of cold chardonny finish things off very nicely.

Oooh falcon that sounds yummy. I might have to try that for lunch tommorow. I reckon it would be just right for me.
