I have had low readings all week, in the 3's going up to 5+ 1 hour after meals. One meal did go up to 8 (fish and chips, a treat).

This has bothered me being so low, especially as been unwell all week too with vertigo and nasty ear infection, which I expected to raise my BG.

Maybe I have overdone the diet and despite not losing any weight this last 3 weeks, my calorie intake has been about 1100,(exceprt for the fish and chips 😱) but with no exercise to speak off.

Just find it another confusion and dont know what to do.

Any suggestions or observations welcome.🙂

It sounds to me like you would benefit from a relaxation of your diet fr a while, with perhaps a few more slow release carbs to help keep your levels up. Some people do find that their levels are lower during illness, so this may be contributing toy your low levels. If it continues, then I'd have a word with the doctor.

Hope you are feeling better and more 'balanced' soon! 🙂

Sounds like you have been having lots of fun recently :(

I must agree with Northener ( about realxing your diet and heading for the doctor if things don't improve soon), but although I have never had vertigo, I wonder if the symptoms you are having might be to do with low blood pressure?

Thanks guys, think its time for the diet to take a rest, shame really, need only another 1/2 stone off, but thats for a later date.

@MCH, have suffered with vertigo of and on for many years, and sadly it is an ear problem, made worse with any ear infection. Thanks for the tip though.
