I was diagnosed with type 2 in september and have since been eating a lower carb and sugar diet, however I also have familiar cholesterol so was already eating a low fat diet + IBS which restricts increase in roughage and veg. I am 5ft 2 and was 52.4 kg I am now 98.4 and I cannot really continue to loose weight at this rate. What can I eat that is low in fat and sugar but will give me calories, I am not hungry and am active walking up to 6 miles a day, dog. I looked at the diet suggestions at the beginning of this website and that is how I have eaten for the past 30 years since being diagnosed with the cholesterol problem.
