CGM woke me at 10pm to tell me that my BG was low.......despite lots of Lucozade didn't get it to 4 until 1am😱 Of course three hours of hypo BGs then led to a Bg of 10 so I had three units of humalog to counter the rebound high......but the insulin had no effect and the CGM graph shows that it carried on rising to 17.......can't win:(

SOunds bad. How you feeling? I hope things get sorted.

Thanks Caroline. Surprisingly I'm feeling fine just a bit tired. Not sure why it happened because I had less insulin than I should for my dinner carbs expecting to need to correct it later (I always do this because of my slow absorption of food)

Amanda sorry to hear about your prolonged hypo must of been awful for you, hope you have been ok the rest of the day x

Thanks Steff. I've had two more low sugars during the day despite not having any homolog😡 I'm shattered and going for a rare night out tonight. I need to find some energy otherwise I will fall asleep at the table

Hi,

Hope you feeling better, long hypos are'nt much fun, nor short ones, about 18mths ago Nathan went through a phase of hypoing, then coming up for about half hour, then dropping back to hypo again ..

Hope you have a nice night out 🙂

Heidi
xx🙂

I hope you enjoyed your night out and things have got back to some semblance of normal now.

Thanks Heidi and Alison - had no more hypos since late yesterday afternoon and night out was great.....although I think that there is a slight chance that I may have drunk a little more wine than I should have - glad that I've got a relaxing day today to recover from the long hypo and the night out:D
