I can't believe that I have 6 appointments coming up before 9th August. First one is blood test next week, then the diabetic nurse. Retinopathy Aug.3rd., 2diabetic education sessions, July and August and podiatry Aug. 9th. Good job I'm not planning to go on holiday yet.😱

Busy lady indeed, its good cause alot of us dont get seen from one year to the next so lap it all up.Good luck with the test next week.

You'll certainly need a break after all that 🙂

Thanks Steff. I'll let you know the results. xx

It's the one thing that really struck me when I was newly-diagnosed. I went from seeing the doctor once in a blue moon to several appointments a month! I felt so medicalised that I even cancelled a dentist check up twice because I couldn't cope with the idea of yet one more 'health encounter' 😱

Hope they all go smoothly for you, and produce good results! 🙂

I'm so pleased you are getting good care. XXXXX

It's great that you are getting all of these appointments. I hope that all of the results are good for you

Best of luck with the results 🙂 x

Its great that you are getting seen and sorted. Some folk do not get seen enough and are neglected. good luck with them all x

Since diagnosis almost 3 years ago I have taken every appointment offered to me at the Drs' surgery, hospital diabetes clinics, dietician, podiatrist and retinopathy screening on the lines of "they" might yet do the cut-backs they are threatening and if I'm already on the books I might still get seen quickly ! Cynical or what ?

So far all reports from each Team have been OK but you can never have too much advice/reassurance I reckon and I admit I'm extremely lucky in my dabetes care when you read some of the problems people on the Forum have getting seen at all........perhaps old age has some benefits ? 🙂
