So after trying to get hold of there Livlife low carb bread over the last few days, I have now discovered its been discontinued
I don't understand why when its always sold out at Waitrose, I always phone them and get as many as I can to freeze as my nearest Waitrose is 20 miles away, I have tried Sainsburys Hi Lo but its not very nice, does anyone know any other options please.

Hi @Pam123 define low carb bread per slice if possible ?

The bread I'm used to having is 3.4g of carbs per slice, its super seeded livlife but they've discontinued it.
We get Warburtons wholemeal, but it is 9g of carbs but with no added sugar.
Can only seem to get it from the co-op

Waitrose have a habit of discontinuing things people buy

Have you looked at the SeriouslyLowCarb website (https://srslylowcarb.com/) ? I used to buy their large rolls. They're not cheap, though.

Oh no, we also buy it at our local waitrose

According to Waitrose management in two stores I visited, Livlife has NOT been discontinued but "suspended", which could mean anything, usually supply chain issues, but currently they said they are expecting to have it "back soon".

Hope it’s just a temporary blip for you @Pam123

Such a nuisance when your local store stops selling the things you buy regularly. Our ASDA is dreadful for it, seemingly 100s of variants of things I don’t want, but the one of those things I liked and always bought gets canned.

I suppose shops have to adapt themselves to what sells in their area, but it’s still annoying - especially as you say - if it’s always sold out.

Perhaps Livlife is having a packaging change? That often seems to create a short gap in availability?!

It’s not unusual with Waitrose at present. I see plenty of “temporarily unavailable” on both the shelves and when doing an online shop. My favourite Vogel bread has been absent for weeks

Lots of temporary gaps in availability in shops these days. All that ‘just in time’ delivery comes with increased risks of unavailability!

According to LivLife's website the bread is available in 'selected' Waitrose stores, so I'm wondering whether some stores still sell it while others have dropped it for whatever reason. I'll have a look in our Waitrose next time I'm passing.
