Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
I was first diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2011 and this came about when I went to doctors with an issue that I didn’t think was related to diabetes. Generally I think I am able to manage my diabetes however I have a sweet tooth which sometimes impacts my control. My long term goal is to try and reverse my diabetes or at the least come off my medication. I am hoping that this forum will give me help and some good clear direction on how to achieve this.

Welcome to the forum. There will be lots of ideas from people here but many find that by reducing the amount of 'sweet' things you have your taste will change and things that seemed perfectly ok will just be far too sweet.
However if you are into baking there are recipes for low carb cakes and biscuits as well as other meals on the website sugarfreelondoner which may help you find things that will satisfy you.
If you want some new ideas which may be suitable and help with your goal of remission and reduction of meds then this link may help. https://lowcarbfreshwell.co.uk/

Welcome to the forum @Frank Donno

How have things been going over the past decade or so? Whuch medications are you taking? And what changes have you made to your food choices and levels of activity to help balance your glucose levels?
