Back t drawing board!

I was first diagnosed with T2 diabetes about 10 years ago and given metformin 3 times daily and went on course to loose weight. Well had my ups and downs especially having asthma and needing steroids once or twice a year. I was 4ft 10ins my Bs 17 and 12st 10lbs

I’ve lost a bit ono and off over years and my diabetics remained good and bad readings.

About 3 years ago I lost nearly 5 stone and my HbA1c 38 so we’ll please and dr had me down as star pupil. Well what do they say pride comes before a fall and COVID!

Well last week I was 75.5 kgs and last hbalc 48 so the diabetic team changed my victoza to oZepic 0.5 no other meds as can’t tolerate metformin! I got weighed yesterday at clinic

And was 72kgs and recent hbalc was 43 so here’s to new regime weight loss low carb more protein and only need ozepic 0.5 once weekly. I’ll keep updated the forum. I’ve done it before and will do again only this time round won’t be thinking I’m the bees knees ( I’m 72 this year)

Welcome to the forum @Docsue

What a rollercoaster you have been on!

Sorry to hear how Covid messed you about.

Sounds like the Ozempic is working well for you, and great to hear your weight is coming back down 🙂
