Hi my husband was diagnosed with diabetes 10 years ago. He is prone to mood swings and temper tantrums as his blood sugars have been all over the place. He's a heavy drinker of lager and I think that has a lot to do with it. I've tried to help him but he doesn't listen. He also eats irregularly. Any advice, it's putting a lot of pressure on me.

Welcome to the forum Linda. It's difficult to know what to advise, as so much depends on what you husband is prepared to do to manage his condition. Just because he has diabetes, bad behaviour towards another person is never acceptable. Do you provide his meals? Does he check his blood glucose levels before and after at least some meals and drinking sessions? What (if any) medication is he taking?

Welcome Linda. The advice that may help depends on which sort of Diabetes your partner has. Is it type 1 or Type 2 or another type?

There are a lot of people on this forum with loads of very helpful advice so keep asking questions and answers will come back.
